[Ghost butts]

I’d say I’m actually pretty sound of mind when it comes to ghost butts, not “nuts” as you so boldly assume. Perhaps slightly distracted or neurotic on the subject, but certainly not nuts. Although I suppose what constitutes the existence of a ghost butt? Is it simply an idol of desire that can be observed and admired but never obtained, never touched. Is it that feeling of looking outward and seeing that which you hold in such high regard, the one thing you desire over all others, so close yet just out of reach. To go through your life simply existing, never making any attempt to be someone distinct. To be someones distraction. You can’t do it because that’s not who you are, you’re not distinct, you are you. To be anything else would be disingenuous. At the end of the day if you tried to be someone better, would you really be yourself at that point? Or just another character? An extension of someone else’s life, a player in their roster. All you can do to be truly yourself is observe, because that’s all you’ll ever be, a ghost. Observe, desire, go through the motions but never step out of yourself, don’t do anything risky. Never touch. If that’s truly the meaning of the ghost butt then perhaps I am nuts.
